Monday Soul Food...

It's easy to get caught up in the busyness of
Christmas, but with an inventory list assessing "Virtues"
we can relieve the stress of the season upon us!

This list of important virtues cannot be bought in
a store and therefore does not cost a penny!

Would you like to be happy and content as you
prepare for the birthday of our Savior?

"Fruits of the Spirit"

~ Love ~ unselfish, loyal & benevolent concern for the well being of others
~ Joy ~ great delight, gladness of heart
~ Peace ~ tranquility, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation
~ Patience ~ ability to endure persecution and ill~treatment
~ Kindness ~ goodness in action, sweetness of disposition
~ Goodness ~ ready to do good, love in action
~ Faithfulness ~ dependability, loyalty and stability
~ Gentleness ~ gracious, kindly disposition, controlled strength
~ self~control ~ restraint or discipline exercised over one's behavior

May each of these virtues rest in your heart during this
busy time of year...reminding ourselves that our character
is a very import task in life!

It is with these virtues that we can overcome difficult
obstacles as we walk the path of life!

Please visit Galatians 5:16~26 to read more about
walking in the Spirit!

...πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘...

Well friends, it's time for me to tackle the next
thing on my to~do list!

Soulfully,
Tammy

  5. I Love the Christmas Season. I especially love looking at the Chrismon Tree in our little church. It is so beautiful to me and has a special meaning because my mother stitched all of the cross stitch ornaments on it. There are hundreds of them and they were all stitched for our church with Love. She is no longer with us but, this is a great memory of her. Love the little lamb. Thanks for sharing.

  23. I love many things about Christmas but I would have to choose Christmas Carols as my favorite thing. I sing with the choir in my church (we are a small group but dedicated), we start practicing in September so that gets me going early! Have a wonderful Christmas season.

  28. Hi Tammy! what a beautiful, generous give-away my dear friend!
I hold Christmas in my heart all year long, as I am reminded everyday of our most precious gift ~ our daughter Hannah! I was due to have her on Christmas Eve, but she decided she couldn't wait and made her appearance on December 20th instead. My absolute favorite memory is of her dressed in a tiny red velvet dress and sleeping peacefully ~ under our Christmas tree <3
Much love to you, dear friend, and Merry Christmas to you & yours!

  30. Are you kidding??? Who would not love to own this sweet, lamb of a pinkeep treasure?

I am a dreamer and love the Visions of Christmas Tide Blessings.
The anticipation of the joyous coming of our Savior and "Prince of Peace". Sounds of church bells & Christmas Caroling. Scenes of freshly fallen snow, dashing on in a one horse open sleigh. The pungent aroma of freshly baked cookies. A warm and cozy wood burning fireplace.
All to enjoy, gathered together with family & loved ones. What more could one Hope for?

  31. Christmas is a time of childhood memories, time spent with family and friends, celebrating Jesus & singing the most beautiful songs to him and those we love, making new memories, giving to strangers and helping them make good memories, it's truly the most wonderful time of the year.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I love the lights, smells and colors of the season, but especially the reason for the season, Jesus' birth. I love the Christmas story in Luke.

  33. I try my best to keep Christmas in my heart all year long. I love to ponder on the birth of our savior Jesus Christ but also of his sacrifice to pay the debt of our sin. Could there be a more precious gift? It is a wonderful time of the year to be with our children and grandchildren, but when they go home, my husband and I have a tradition of taking a ride into town to look at everyone's lights and decorations, then come home to put presents out under the tree. There is NEVER a present put out until everyone is gone Christmas Eve, or when the kids were asleep when they were still here at home. A special time of the year to be sure.

  34. What a lovely giveaway, it's so neat to see everyone's favorite things about Christmas. My favorite things would be decorating the tree and the traditional Polish Christmas dinner that my grandmother made every year and that was carried on by my parents.. oh and St. Nicholas day cookies which is tomorrow!
    Thanks
