"Hearts Content" Armchair Pinpoke

Welcome & Happy Saturday
needlefolk friends!

Did you ever play hooky from school...I sure did!

It felt like deja vu yesterday as I played
hooky from my Studio!

An unexpected road trip took my family
to Watertown but I requested to be dropped off at
the East Towne Mall in Madison.

I had so much fun shopping, but even better
than that was being waited on by a sales clerk that
I knew...such a sweet surprise!

She is a special stitching friend, it was so good
to see you Annette Fischer...YOU MADE MY DAY!

Hearts Content...

Welcome dear needlefolk friends!

Finally,
a quiet moment to drop by and say
hello with quick little post!

Early Maiden Workbasket Club Sneak Peek...

Tonight I'm working on the finishing
touches for this next project!

Everything is coming together very nicely,
and I'm excited to share the finish with you very soon!

☙:::❧

While out and about I saw this one of a kind sign...

It gave me a good laugh,
because it reminds me of my life the
last couple of months...everything seems to be
in slow motion!

This has been the most difficult summer of
of my life, due to the complications my husband is
going through with his eyes!

My heart is breaking for him daily,
seeing him filled with anxiety and fear of the
possibility of losing his sight.

☙:::❧

Sunshine for the Soul...

"From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee,
when my heart is overwhelmed:
lead me to the rock that is higher than I."

Psalms 61:2...kjv

Alas, my workday must continue!

Until next time...good wishes to all!

Pushing Forward ~

Welcome and happy Saturday
needlefolk friends!

This past week has been just a blurr!
Two road trips to Mayo, husband's eyes are
not doing well...Friday was spent in urgent care!

However, there was one day this week that I
got a break and went on a fabric hunting road trip...

I found two lovely Civil War Reproduction
fabrics that will be used in upcoming club kits.

I'm leaning towards this one for the
upcoming Early Maiden Workbasket kit.

Working on the design now,
and will decide once I get further along!

Saturday Snap Shots ~

Happy Saturday dear needlefolk friends!

I ran out of time yesterday for my
regular Friday post, so this is rather fun
doing it on a Saturday!

Prim & Proper Pinkeep Club Update...

These sweet little bee charms
arrived from the United Kingdom...just in time!

This weekend I'll be kitting and bagging,
and on Monday they'll be all ready to ship out!

~♛~

This past weekend my family and I enjoyed
a wonderful hike through "Wild Cat Mountain Park"...

The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and
the adventure all began with these ancient old steps!

Once we reached the overlook point,
my husband insisted on taking pics of
my youngest son Sam and I.

The view was incredibly breathtaking!

Looking way down below were people
canoeing...they look so small!

Love all the old stone steps
and guard rails!

It was so enchanting...like being in a different world!

More great pics from our road  trip...

Old abandoned shed nestled into the
roadside weeds and vines.

Black beef cattle enjoying the
midsummer's day!

After passing this awesome shed,
we had to do a turnaround...definitely
couldn't pass by this old beauty!

An old corn crib overground with vines...so cool!

I love the simple beauty of old weathered buildings!

Sunshine for the Soul...

we will rejoice and be glad in it."

Next weeks focus will be getting
started on kit number three for the
Early Maiden Workbasket Cub!

Until then,
I'm off to seize the weekend ahead!

Country Blessings,
Tammy
